Pomegranates, pomegranates and more pomegranates...
Please bear with me, it is that time of the year again when the pomegranates are everywhere I look, so inviting, I just can't pass them by.
So, let you be warned, there will be more pomegranate photos on this blog.
Now that you have been properly warned I can go onward.
My main knitting companion right now is my Little Princess sock.

I am fine tuning the Checkered Twist Sock pattern for extra wide legs like mine. The lovely Opal yarn is a treat to knit with and I got up to the heel flap this morning.
This past Sunday DD #4 got her first taste of school (just an hour). She will be starting first grade in two days.

And I attended my first PTA meeting of the year. I can't complain, for me it meant 8 more rounds on my sock! The yarn is a bit too busy to see cables clearly, but it makes me happy.

Still, the next sock I knit in this pattern will be in semi-solid, to show off the texture.

Now I got to work on sizing it down to medium and small sizes.
I am tempted, so tempted to start a few more projects. Another hat, and two more neckwarmers and a bag for DH to carry his lunch in. I also need to come up with something special for our 20th wedding anniversary. So far no idea what. But meanwhile I am sticking to my socks and the current neckwarmer in progress. I want to finish them up first.
